We offer the following to LCLA members:
Increase the internationality of our activities by integrating Lithuanian literature into a wider field of influences, similarities, and differences;
Contribute to the making and holding of a polylogue between different cultures, literatures, disciplines and methodological approaches, and share our discoveries in an environment of active Lithuanian and other countries‘ comparativists and like-minded people;
Receive regular ESCL newsletters and information about international conferences and other scientific events organized in Lithuania;
Pay a reduced participation fee (EUR 10) to attend ESCL thematic conferences held every other year;
Have a priority for publication in the Association's ongoing journal "Acta Litteraria Comparativa";
Consolidate forces and ideas to further develop the activities of the Association.
We expect the following from LCLA members:
To speak at least one or two, preferably three or four foreign languages,
to be interested in the history of European culture, and ideally not limited to it,
to dive deeper into a particular epoch or century, and into several areas of comparativism.
